ASVAB Career Exploration Program

What's your dream job?

The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a comprehensive, no cost, no commitment career planning resource designed to help young people align their strengths and interests with a post-secondary plan that works.

The ASVAB CEP is not just a military test! It encourages students to:

  • Explore themselves and the full-spectrum of career options - college, career, or military

  • Create a plan toward getting the skills and qualifications they need to meet career goals

State law requires CRHS to offer the ASVAB to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

See this flyer by the TEA.

What is the difference between the ASVAB and the ASVAB Career Exploration Program (ASVAB CEP)?

The ASVAB is an aptitude test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. The ASVAB CEP is a career planning and exploration program offered free to participating schools and students. The ASVAB CEP includes a validated ASVAB test and interest assessment. The results are used to guide career exploration for college, career, or military using the ASVAB CEP career planning tools.
