Submitting a course request to enroll in a FULL course, will automatically put you on one of the Tiered Waitlist!
Counsellors will monitor the waitlist and enroll students if spots open on a daily basis.
IF Tier #3 applies to you, a counsellor will ONLY email you AFTER the deadline has passed to provide an update.
If spots opens in a FULL course, priority will be given to the following Waitlist:
Tier 1. New Students who are entering York Mills
Tier 2. Current YM Students who DID NOT have the course on their timetable at any point this year or last year!
Tier 3. Students who have previously enrolled in the course and dropped. This includes the previous year (notified AFTER the deadline)
*Students should consider TDSB eLearning Day School & TDSB Night School as a back up.
Student wishing to drop a current course for a SPARE can use Course Drop Request Form (Only for gr. 11 or gr. 12's)
**Active YM status requires students to be enrolled in 3 YM in-person courses OR 2 YM In person courses + 1 TDSB eLearning course**
Follow your current timetable until your Counsellor confirms (via email) a change has been made!

As was explained during the course selection process, if you successfully completed a summer school class (in the TDSB) in a course that was scheduled for 2024-2025 it will automatically be replaced with your alternate course selection by your Guidance Counsellor. If you would like it replaced with something other than your alternate course you will have to follow the instructions posted above to request the timetable change.
If you took a summer school course somewhere outside of the TDSB (another board or private school) please have the school at which you completed the course forward your final report card to York Mills as soon as possible and notify your Guidance Counsellor via email.
School and Board calendars are now accessible on our Home Page.
Click here for instructions to login to your account for the first time. (You likely will not be activated until the first day of school and it may take up to 48 hours to activate after your registration appointment once school has started.) You will need your student number. It is on your timetable. If you do not have your timetable please email your Guidance counsellor to obtain it. The shared secret password is 8 digits long in the following format: last 4 digits of the student numbers, 2 digits day of birth, 2 digits month of birth.
