Silverthorn's Robotics Team

Silver Robotics (FRC Team 9575) is one of only two high school teams in Etobicoke that provide students with the opportunity to compete in the international FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). We offer unparalleled, hands-on engineering experience that is unique in our immediate area. As a team founded in 2023, we maintain a small size, which allows all members to take on significant responsibility in their first year. Students of all backgrounds quickly gain expertise in advanced coding, wiring, 3D design, and machining. The team established itself as an instant success, earning the distinguished Rookie All-star Award and the Rookie Inspiration Award in its inaugural season.  Beyond competition, our team emphasizes professional development and community engagement by running robotics workshops for local Grade 5 - 8 classes and organizing regular excursions to engineering businesses and post-secondary institutions for specialized training.
