September's McKee Bee for Respect

This month, Theo received the McKee Bee for respect. Theo is a very respectful student! He always listens attentively when someone is speaking, and he always works quietly at his group so he doesn't disturb his classmates. He always uses kind and polite words, and he is always offering to help his teachers and classmates. Keep up the amazing work, Theo! We are all proud of you!

October's McKee Bee for Responsibility

This month, Hayato received the McKee Bee for responsibility. Hayato is always on time in the morning, and he is always following the classroom and school rules. Hayato always remembers to bring his homework to school too. Thanks for being so kind and responsible, Hayato. Keep up the amazing work. We are all proud of you!

November's McKee Bee for Empathy

This month, Ethan received the McKee Bee for empathy. For this McKee Bee, I asked the students for some input. This is what a few students said about Ethan:

"I would like to see Ethan get this award because he shares his things with his classmates."

"At recess, when someone gets hurt, Ethan always helps"

"When I fell down when I was playing soccer, Ethan came over and helped me up. He made sure I was fully OK before he left".

Way to go, Ethan!! Congratuations, and thank you for being so kind and empathetic. :)

December's McKee Bee for Kindness

This month, Janan received the McKee Bee for kindness. Janan is always offering to help other students in the class. In the morning, she helps another student complete his agenda. She also helps students with their classroom work, and she is always sharing classroom supplies. She loves to help out in the classroom, and she is always offering to run errands for her teacher too!! Thank you, Janan for all you do!

January's McKee Bee for Teamwork

This month's McKee Bee goes to Evan! Evan is always a team player. He always cooperates when he works with a group, and he always accepts his fair share of the work. He is always a team player, and he works with his classmates to achieve their goal.

Here are some comments from the students!

"I think Evan is very good at being a team player. For example, when I am in a group with Evan, and there is a disagreement, he helps to solve it in a nice and polite way."

"I think Evan deserves it because he always participates, especially in Dance".

"I think Evan should get this award because at the McKee Winter Olympics, Evan cheered everyone on. He gave everyone the courage to keep going."

"I think Evan deserves it because during the McKee Winter Olympics, when we were playing soccer, Evan reminded us to pass the ball to kids who didn't get a chance to kick it".

February's McKee Bee for Fairness

This month's McKee Bee for fairness goes to Hana! Hana is always polite and fair. She always waits patiently for her turn when playing a game or doing an activity, and she always shares classroom resources (e.g., pencils, erasers, rulers, etc.) with her classmates when doing an activity. She always treats her classmates fairly and with resspect. Well done, Hana! We are all proud of you!

March's McKee Bee for Honesty

This month's McKee Bee goes to Mysha. Mysha is always honest. If she forgets something or makes a mistake, she always owns it, takes full responsibility for it, and learns from it. Thank you for always being honest, Mysha. We really respect you for that!
