Forest of Reading Program Overview:
Forest of Reading is a Canadian reading program that fosters a love of reading.
Our school participates in the Blue Spruce Program (K-Grade 3) and the Silver Birch Fiction Program (4-6).
For each program there are 10 nominated books, we read them all over the span of a couple of months and then at the end of the program get a chance to vote for our favourite book as a school!
Our students are always so excited to read the nominated books!
*During this time, the Forest of Reading Organization has opened their website for free access of lots of different activities. Please check it out!
