"Teachers need to ask questions, especially to the younger people in their buildings. Veteran teachers may have a world of knowledge when it comes to classroom instruction, but in the world of technology, my bets are placed on the young minds and teachers around them. Also, get help from your students, explore the ins and outs of Google Classroom, and online by putting yourself into their shoes. We may think that we have the most beautiful online program that ever graced a Google platform, but if our students are confused with layouts and instructions, none of the other stuff matters."
"Listen, I downloaded every single iPhone app for Google that they offer. I like having all resources at my fingertips, so I don't have to login into 70 different places to find what I am looking for. I like simplicity. One of my favorite tools I use is the V-Cast Sender app that works on my interactive TV. I can broadcast anything that's on my phone or computer to the TV using this app. I also love to take screenshots of the TV, which I can upload to my Google Drive and then post in Google Classroom for my online students to see."
"I just LOVE computers and all devices. I strive to explore all my resources so I never have to ask for help. I think for my generation, we lucked up. We grew up during the shift of technology where computers started advancing quickly. I saw the birth of all the latest phones, the death of the floppy disk and still remember the sound of dial up internet. I had to learn quickly and keep up to speed as technology changed vastly around me through school and into my adult life."
