Mrs. Amanda Hawthorne currently teaches Third Grade at Ft. Sam Houston Elementary School in the Ft. Sam Houston Independent School District. This is her 12th year in education. She has previously taught pre-kindergarten, first grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. Amanda earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. Additionally, she has her TCEA Campus Technology Specialist certificate. Amanda has presented at local and state-wide conferences to include TCEA and TASB Governance.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her son and husband, relaxing with friends and family, and playing with her dogs.

Dr. Roland Rios is a Technology Director in San Antonio. During his 30 years in education, he has been a math teacher and a secondary assistant principal and principal. When not spending time with his family, Roland enjoys performing community service, taking photos and playing the guitar and ukulele badly.
