The Science Department is involved in promoting Environmental Education through mentoring of the Environment Council, EC.
Through EC, St. Paul Paul II CSS has received 7 platinum certifications by Ontario Eco Schools.

The Science Department enjoys taking their students to explore and learn at Ripley's Aquarium (Gr.10), Toronto Zoo (Gr.9), and Ontario Science Centre (Gr.12 for DNA Fingerprinting and Plasmid Transferring Labs).
