Student Advisory Council

What's Student Advisory Council (SAC)?

Each year a group of students hold events the students and represent all students in different aspects of student life.

Students who make up SAC are either elected by students or appointed by the staff to certain positions.

Elected Positions

Students can apply for these positions and one candidate is elected by their Brebeuf peers

  • Vice President

  • Sport Representative

  • Arts Representative

  • Junior Social Representative

  • Senior Social Representative

Appointed Positions

Students can apply for these positions and one candidate is appointed by the elected members of SAC

  • Treasurer

  • Secretary

  • Spiritual Representative

  • Publicity Representative

  • International Students Representative

Activities organized by SAC


Spirit Week

  • Spirit Weeks - Special games, food and activities all week long

  • Casual Days - On late start days, wear your own clothes for $2, spirit wear or running shoes for $1 to raise money for school events and clubs

  • Fall Dance and Spring Dance - Tickets are sold to Brebeuf students and single gendered female schools

  • BBQs - Burgers, hot dogs, drinks and snacks are sold during special lunch periods

  • Beuf Records - Your chance to compete in mini challenges and set a record

  • Lunch Time Activities - Occasionally have the opportunity to play video games, play board games or Giant Jenga

Spirit Week

2020 - 2021 SAC

The SAC for 2021 - 2020 will be assembled in October. Students will have the chance to apply or nominate themselves for positions in September. For the first time ever, Grade 9 students will get the opportunity to vote for the Junior Social Representative.

The Student Advisory Council Office is located in the atrium next to the library!
