The Arts Department

Our Arts Department offers a variety of experiences and pathways leading to the creative industries:

• Grade 9-12 Visual Arts, Drama, and Music

• Visual Arts Grade 9 offers expressions of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Studies

• Drama offers a senior production course

• Theatre Brebeuf

• Music offers 3 jazz bands, a grade 9 concert band, a senior concert band, a sax quartet, a brass quintet, and other groups which ensures students receive the full band experience

• Students can join Music Council, as well as, be involved in our annual charity show "Club Brebeuf" and other talent shows throughout the year

• Grade 10 Guitar Music course

• Semi Annual Arts Fest showcasing our students creative talents in performance, production, and creative arts.

• Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) in the Arts which includes certifications in the arts & Reach Ahead & Experiential Learning opportunities beyond the classroom. For more information, click here.
