A Developmentally Grounded Literacy Experience

Watertown Public Schools believes that a strong foundation in literacy empowers students in all areas of life.

Through the Science of Reading, we utilize the CKLA Amplify Program to help achieve our curriculum goals.

We are dedicated to cultivating a  joy for reading and writing in each of our students. WPS elementary educators are committed to providing highly engaging, relevant, and motivating literacy experiences for all children. As we develop our students into authors and readers our focus includes all areas of literacy acquisition. We ensure personalized literacy experiences that appropriately support and challenge all students to grow.
