Purpose: The Red Stripe helps position Chapters for a successful year by focusing on awareness of Tau Beta Sigma's risk management policies and participation in District and National educational opportunities.

At least one Active Member of the Chapter must attend 2 workshops or events hosted by a District Officer or National Team Member
Submit a picture of attendance for each workshop or event
[Submission Form] - Due June 1st, 2027
The same Active Member may attend both workshops or events, or different Active Members may attend each workshop or event as long as the Chapter submits documentation showing attendance at both
Attendance at workshops or events with multiple sessions will only count as one required workshop or event
Example: Attending NCD District Convention is the event. Individual workshops at NCD District Convention do not count as separate events.

District Opportunities
Virtual Workshops or Events led by a District Officer
In-Person Workshops or Events
District Days, Area Workshops, District Events, District Convention, State Days, etc. approved by the District VPSP
National Opportunities
Leadership development programs hosted by an NLT Member
Chapter operations programs hosted by an NLT Member
"Built for Band" or "National Exchange" sessions
Participation in qualifying "13 Days of Tau Beta Sigma" events
Other educational programs hosted by an NLT Member
If a Chapter co-hosts an event with NMDP, it can count towards one of the two workshops or events
Examples of Activities That DO NOT Qualify:
Chapter visits conducted by Chapter Visitation Assistants, Counselors, or District Council Members
Chapter Designee meetings
Workshops or events developed specifically for one Chapter
Regular Chapter meetings or internal Chapter programs
