TERM 4!

There is a golf tournament on Friday 23rd June at RNGC, tee off time is at 2.30pm for the Junior Competition. It is for RNGC members only. Students who wish to participate must make their own transport arrangements.

Golf will be at school 2.30pm-3.30pm for all other members of Friday Golf!

TBS GOLF TEAM WERE REPRESENTED BY 8 GOLFERS ON SAT 20TH MAY AT THE NESCAFE GOLD GOLD TOURNAMENT AT GOKARNA.

There were fifteen juniors in the field in total and the competition was high in this popular stableford points tournament. TBS captured an amazing first, second, third and fourth spot on the day. Well done to Tanush, Devansh, Sam, Devasri, Neil, Arnav, Phurba and Jetasri for their participation and performances!

FRIDAY 7TH APRIL 2017

Citizens Bank Open Golf Tournament for Juniors will be held on Friday, 7th April 2017.

Entrance fee - NRs. 1000/- (Snacks will be provided after game)

Tee off time - 2.00 pm (9 holes only)

If any golfer is interested in playing in the Gokarna tournament please make your own arrangements for departing from school, registration and transport.

Please let Ms.Malla or Mr.Wambeek know by Thursday if you need any assistance.

NB: TBS teachers will not be present at this event, parents must accompany. You will need to leave school early, please inform the secondary office manager.

Friday Week 9 17th March

Welcome back Golf FOBISIA team. Golf club as normal this Friday for all. Depart for RNGC at 2.20pm. If any golfer is playing in the Gokarna tournament please make your own arrangements for departing from school, registration and transport.

Golf club on Friday will be at school (Secondary Astro) 2.30pm-3.30pm

Friday Week 6 24th February

There will be no Golf club on Friday due to road closures in the area of RNGC

Friday Week 5 10th February

TBS Key Stage 2 & 3 Golf Open

Nine golfers played in the TBS open on the Friday before the half term. This 18 hole competition at Royal Nepal Golf Club was played amongst our KS2 and KS3 golfers. There were some great rounds of golf played, all players finished the 18 holes with not too many lost balls being reported. Tanush won the boys section with an amazing 61 net score and Devasri won the girls section with a score of 70. Congratulations also to Devasri and Sam who placed 1st and 2nd respectively at the RNGC championships over the holidays.

TERM 3
Clubs start in Week 2. Golf Club will go ahead as per normal. Please be at the bus at 2.20pm ready to depart. Pick up from RNGC no later than 4.30pm and TBS 5pm.

Shikar Golf 2016 on 16/17 Dec 2016. Juniors will play on Friday 16^th Dec at 2:00 pm. The competition will be over 9 holes. The entry fee to the tournament will be waived. Those having official handicap will be eligible for competition. Please let Ms.Malla or Mr.Wambeek know by Thursday 4pm if you wish to enter this competition.

NB: TBS teachers will not be present at this event, parents must accompany.

TBS golfer Devasri had a fantastic victory on Saturday in the Soaltee Crown Plaza Golden Jubilee Golf tournament. She captured the Junior title after a great round of golf. Well done!

Devasri captures the Opple Golf title 18th September 2016.

Five TBS golfers played at the Opple Golf tournament at Gokarna last weekend. There were some great rounds of golf played with lots of birdies recorded on the golf cards. Devasri had a fantastic round playing consistently to capture the Junior section title. Congratulations!

Royal Nepal Golf Club

TBS GOLF SQUAD TBS Champion at Royal Nepal Golf Club

RNGC was the venue for the 99th anniversary golf tournament on Friday 2nd September. Devasri won by a huge margin scoring 47 points from a large competitive field, her front nine of seven pars, a bogey and a birdie set her up for a great round of golf. Congratulations. All TBS golfers played well on the day, there was some well executed short game shots around the greens. In other golfing news Arnav captured the monthly medal at Gorkhana Golf Club on Saturday 3rd. Well done to all who played.
