This Beauty Course allowed students to have fun and design in a safe space. However, other aspects of learning were disguised under the makeup and skincare. The girls explored colour theory and how opposite colours on the wheel can complement each other and which colours could cancel the other out. They also delved into looking at ingredients inside products and how they react to certain skin types, this meant they could identify key elements of how certain ingredients can help certain skin conditions. With the combination of their new knowledge, practiced techniques and creative imagination the group became more confident in applications and in giving reasonings of why they did what they did.
