The goals of the #LoveTaupo Course:
To learn more about the Geography History and Culture of our location
To experience what we have to offer to visitors in our location
To develop the concept for a new tourist experience (attraction/activity) that provides the visitors with something different, that also shares geographical, historical and/or cultural information about our locations.
Students enjoyed getting out and about visiting some of our key attractions, and then coming back and reflecting of the value of the attraction.
We welcomed Alice Orr from Destination Lake Taupo along to one of our last sessions where we presented our ideas for the next new tourism concepts we think should be offered in our region - we are now looking for investors!!
