Review: The letter/sound M
Below are learning opportunities, activities and links separated out for each subject area. Try to do a few activities every day! Remember if any activity causes stress, please take a break or stop it completely.
HANDWRITING
Practice tracing/writing your first name EVERYDAY. Write it with shaving cream, chalk or paint if you want to switch it up!
Draw/Write in your home journal (Journal in the preschool packet)
JOURNAL IDEAS: Draw your family (count how many people are in your family)
Draw a picture of your favorite foods (count how many things you drew)
Count 1-10
Encourage your child to count along with the video clip in a silly voice as well!

Letter Trace ( in Preschool Packet) -Have your child say the letter and trace with finger or write.

A quick tutorial of how to set up this week's math activities.
MATH
Complete one per day (if you want :-)
Write #'s 1-10 on cards. Lay them out on the floor. Toss a bean bag or small stuffy friend onto a card and have your child read the # on the card.
Write #'s 1-10 on cards. Lay them out on the floor all mixed up. Have/help your child put in order 1-10.
Use your #'s 1-10 cards. Have your child match objects to the #. Ex: 2 Legos next to the card with 2 on it.
Make numbers on the Number Trace worksheet in the packet I sent home. You could use cereal or noodles.
Number Trace ( in Preschool Packet)- write numbers or trace numbers with your finger.

ART & SENSORY
Some ideas if you want to include art
Lots of people in the community have displayed Teddy Bears, Rainbows, and/or Hearts on the windows of their home. Make your own Bear, Rainbow, or Hearts and display on your window at home. Go on a walk and hunt for other Bears, Rainbows, and Hearts.
Foil Art: Paint on Tin Foil
Make Play-Doh (recipe in Preschool Packet I sent out)
Flatten out Play Doh and have your child write numbers, letters or designs in the Play Doh
