MEMBERSHIP

The Southeast Asia Media Studies Association (SEAMSA) is open to academics, scholars, graduates, media practitioners, and institutions who are actively committed to the study of the mass media in the Southeast Asian region.

Currently, there are more than 200 members with diverse backgrounds, from various countries not limited to the Southeast Asian region.

SEAMSA is dedicated to encouraging growth and equal participation for the benefit of all members.

• A chance to be selected as Editorial Board Members, Issue Editors, and Peer Reviewers for the Southeast Asian Media Studies Journal (SEAMSJ)

• Discounted rates for any SEAMSA's event, conferences and other activities

• Invitation to attend the AGM meeting

• Eligibility to be nominated and/or elected as an officer or a member of the Executive Council

• Voting rights for the election of SEAMSA Executive Council

FEE-WAIVED MEMBERSHIP FOR 2022

The SEAMSA Executive Council members have agreed and decided to waive the fee of the membership until 31 December 2022.

This is as part of the efforts to expand the members of the community across the world as well as to strengthen the direction of the organization.

Please note that all SEAMSA members should be issued a Membership ID starting in 2022.

If you previously have signed up for the fee-waived membership program (in 2020 and 2021) but did NOT receive the Membership ID, please fill out the SEAMSA Membership Form provided.
