Taproot offers several paid internship and employment opportunities for youth depending on age, school enrollment, and season. We hope to build long-term relationships with Rochester youth that provide opportunities for advancement within Taproot and preparation for careers and education in a variety of fields.Â

Our Summer Youth Employment Program has come to a close! A fantastic group of over 30 youth joined the Taproot Community Food Team. We spent the first few weeks team-building and training with our leaders, including sessions on first aid & CPR, photography lessons, gardening skills, and tool practice.Â

We completed projects at eight different community gardens in Southwest and Northeast Rochester, including assisting with a large mural near the Public Market!
