My major teaching responsibilities are 12 credit hours per semester. The courses I teach include teaching-methods classes for the Physical Education Teacher Certification (PEK) program and foundation classes for all Kinesiology majors. I also teach a health-related service course for students across the university. In addition, I volunteer to lead a first-year experience class for new Aggies.
I strive to offer best education to students. Constantly refined, all my online courses have been recognized by Quality Matters, an international organization to ensure the quality of online teaching. The qualification processes also facilitated the refinement of my face-to-face courses. Based on my self-regulated learning research, I engage in self-reflective practices by constantly examining my teaching effectiveness. As the PEK program coordinator, I especially prioritize developing my pedagogy students to become critical thinkers and reflective practitioners. In addition to mentoring them teaching in the field, I also encourage them to share their in-sights on teaching and coaching through writing and publishing column papers in professional journals.
