My research interests include Teaching & Learning, Physical Activity & Motivation, and Measurement & Evaluation. Regarding Teaching & Learning, I focus on experimenting innovative teaching and learning strategies, particularly self-regulated learning strategies among undergraduate students. For Physical Activity & Motivation, I investigate how motivational factors impact people's experience in physical activity participation. As my latest endeavor, I collaborate with colleagues on researching effectiveness of physical activity interventions. As to Measurement & Evaluation, this area is interrelated to the previous two areas. I examine psychometric properties of assessment instruments used in my studies.
During my professional career, I have completed multiple internally and externally funded research projects, published two dozen of peer-reviewed articles and fifty abstracts in top-tier professional journals.
