"Does this project make sense," is a question that should flow through each step of the way in developing a property. A developer needs to be able to understand the market they are working in. The level needs to range from the bigger picture of a state down to the micro-level impact their project has on a local market. Feasibility occurs on both the financial and physical situs aspects of a deal. A site can be too cost-prohibitive to develop without the necessary players or resources to make it worthwhile. Alternatively, understanding a project's limitations can help make more educated decisions on how to proceed when certain issues arise.
