While editing the news item for ATR News, the editor Surya Nagappan realized that "People with Different Abilities" are impacted due to COVID-19 lock down. Then the entire ATM/ATR team put together the plan to execute the Nanre Sei project as a fundraiser with musical entertainment.

With the support of donors, sponsors, registrants, community partners, and our execution partner IndiaTeam.org, we have raised $11,524. As we had planned, we divided the final amount as 40% for the artists and 60% for the "People with Different Abilities". We were able to help 500+ individuals with the fund raised. American Tamil Media kept ZERO dollars as administrative cost to execute the project. In addition to the countless hours, the volunteers spent money for planning, marketing, and executing the project on various tools and platforms. Today, we all are proud of having helped 500+ individuals at the right time.
