Everyday Theatre

so recently we have had a group of actors come over to our school to teach us about ac, at first we had a little bit of an intro to see the characters and what y act like, this was extremely useful because we could ask fitting questions when we do our hot seating. Our hot seating was so fun the actors were in character and stayed that way.

We also continued there game are goal was to get 10 bonus points and to reach the end to WIN and if we won we got a prize but the catch was nobody knew what the prize was! this was such a great activity and i would do it again! this is a great way to improve your drama skills. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the members of the Everyday Theater for coming to our school and doing these fun activity's with you

Funathon

This term we did something could funathon, funathon is something were all the houses get put into little groups and do fun activities around the school. All the activities are really fun and everyone has a blast, at our funathon there are wet activities and dry activities that you participate in. Each teacher in the school has to make a activity so there is a range of activities and you are set to do all of them. Most of them are team events that means you have to collaborate with other teammates and introduce yourself to other people in your house.

GlobalReadAloud

GlobalReadAloud Is just like #NZReadAloud but schools from all over the world can participate Take a look at the second text Zoom Oversea's for some more information. In GlobalReadAloud we are reading a book called Indian No More by Charlene Willing McManis. Its a good book with a lot of language features and good words. It brings out information on how life was in america with racism and how a indian family would live in a city full of white people. GlobalReadAloud is great in so many ways. Its like talking to Americans Australians and New Zealanders Face to face. Its also great that they are all reading the same book and can make connections with each other.

working with others for different countries is quite the expierence. people from other places have different opinions different thoughts and it is really interesting to see that.
