Safeguarding
Our congregations are committed to provide worship in which all God's people, including children and vulnerable adults, are free to worship Him without fear.
To enable this we are taking the following actions:
Encouraging every member of the congregation to be aware of Safeguarding issues
Continue to enable and train a Safeguarding Officer in each parish
(pictured right)Provide appropriate safeguarding training to all leaders in the community
Ensure the names of the Safeguarding Officers are known
Publish safeguarding information in each congregation
Ensuring that Safeguarding appears as a standing item on all PCC agendas
