Set on a hilltop above the River Tamar and the village of Calstock, this beautiful church was consecrated around 1290 and still serves the local community.

The parish church was dedicated in 1259 to St Dominica, an Irish saint who sailed up the Tamar with her brother St Indract and founded a religious settlement near Halton Quay. In 1963 the name of St Dominic, the founder of the Dominican Friars, was added to the dedication

St Anne's Church was consecrated in 1880 as a church to serve the large industrial village of Gunnislake.

All Saints Church Harrowbarrow was built in the 19th century to serve to increasing populations of Harrowbarrow and Metherell. This pretty Victorian church has recently been refurbished with carpets and new chairs to replace the pews.

The church of St Leonard and St Dilpe stands in an ancient Celtic "lan" or oval churchyard near the river Tamar. St Dilpe was a Celtic missionary saint. Much of the church was rebuilt in the 15th century when Landulph was being developed as a river port serving pilgrims travelling to the shrine of St James of Compostella in northern Spain.

St Mellion is a small village on the main road between Callington and Saltash. The parish church which is dedicated to Melanus (a 6th century bishop of Rennes, Brittany) dates from the 14th century.

The parish church of Pillaton was dedicated to St Odolph, a missionary and monk from the Netherlands, in 1259. It is a Grade 1 listed building. On 21 January 2013 a thunderbolt struck one of the pinnacles on the tower causing masonry to crash through the roof of the church. Fortunately the building has been fully repaired and was reopened in November 2013.
