Kindergarten 

Welcome to Kindergarten Art! In our classroom, students will explore creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and imaginative art activities. Kindergarten artists will learn how to use colors, shapes, lines, textures, and patterns while expressing their ideas and feelings through artwork. Students will also discover famous artists, practice safe use of art materials, and build confidence as young creators in a fun and supportive environment.

Our lessons are designed to support the Ohio Visual Arts Standards by encouraging students to create, respond, and connect through art. Kindergarten students will develop skills in artistic expression, creative thinking, and observation while learning to describe artwork and share ideas with others. Through hands-on projects and guided exploration, students will build a strong foundation in the visual arts that supports creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills throughout their education.
