eTwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe.
As part of European projects, our students participated in the awarded Project on autism.
Besides, our teachers participate or are authors / co-authors of many different projects. It is important for us that our students do not feel excluded from the community. The awareness that they are working with their colleagues from other countries mobilizes them to greater effort.
I personally implement projects whose authors are my students - they created the project as a whole - they came up with the main topic, scope of activities, implementation method and evaluation methods. The topics they were interested in were projects about water, city parks, and social support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our projects were not among the awarded for various reasons, but the biggest reward for them was joining them with partners.
We invited students from another school and the Mayor of Inowrocław to participate in one of our projects. The project dealt with the problems of using natural resources. It was fully invented and planned by the students of our school.
