Speech Recognition
Speech recognition is a technology that translates student's speech into text on a computer, chromebook or mobile device. The technology is used as an alternate method to keyboarding, or mouse use. It is a valuable resource for those students that have difficulty with fine motor skills, encoding/spelling or just simply struggling with getting thoughts from their head to the paper. We use "Voice Typing" in Google Docs for speech recognition.
