Meet Joe Marshall with Five Star
We love sharing about our impactful partnerships in our school corporation! Thanks to a Blended Learning Grant, we currently work with Five Star Techology. You may see our friend Joe Marshall around the school and in classrooms, supporting teachers as they navigate new technology and blended learning practives in their classroom. Below you can learn a little more about Mr. Marshall and what he does with Five Star.
Joe is a Professional Development Specialist with Five Star Technology Solutions who started his education career as a substitute teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky. He then went on to complete the ACES Program (Alternative Certification) before teaching in Louisville, Ky at Wheatley Elementary for four years, then continuing his career at the West End Boys School for 7 years. He has also served as the District 4 Representative on the Jefferson County Kentucky Board of Education since 2019. Joe is a dad to two daughters, Corrina (7) and Camilla (2). He enjoys video games, cooking, and the outdoors.
