Parents/Guardians,
It has been an eventful and fun-filled first nine weeks of the 23-24 school year! Parent/Teacher Conferences were a huge success! We can't thank all of the parents/guardians enough for taking time out of their busy schedule to come and meet with their child's teacher.
We also celebrated CollegeGo! Week with activities, trivia, dress-up days, and our Touch a Truck event. The event was attended by SCES and JCES students. It was a huge success and an amazing interactive experience for our students. I can't thank Mr. Maple, Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Quintanilla enough for all their hard work.
The end of the nine weeks was Friday, October 6 but report cards will not go home until Wednesday, October 18. When we return from Fall Break, we will celebrate our students who have maintained passing grades, good attendance and behavior. We will announce those students when we return and then celebrate them on the 20th of October. We have a wonderful afternoon planned!
We have delayed our AR party until the Wednesday when we return from Fall Break! Hopefully some of our friends continued to read over Fall Break as well!
From all of us at SCES, we hope that all of our families and students had a wonderful Fall Break.
