2 PE classes (.50 credit total)
Physical education is a graduation requirement. It is advised students take at least one semester of PE during their 9th grade year unless they are going to earn a waiver. Students may be excused from the PE requirement by completing two years of NJROTC; two seasons of marching band/flags; or two district-sponsored interscholastic athletic seasons (including cheerleading). No credit is given for a PE waiver; therefore students who use the waivers must complete an additional half-credit course in its place.
