Mathematics A Level

Level: Level 3

Entry Requirements: Grades 5 or above in your GCSEs including English. In addition you will require at least a grade 7 in mathematics and at least a grade 5 in statistics.

In this course, you will study Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics. The content taught builds on work covered as part of the Higher GCSE Mathematics course and incorporates new mathematical topics such as differentiation, integration, parametric equations, hypothesis testing, statistical distributions, forces and movements. You can expect to be entered for AS Level Mathematics at the end of Year 12. You will then take A Level Mathematics examination at the end of Year 13.
