English Language A Level

Level: Level 3

Entry Requirements: Grades 5 or above in your GCSEs including English and mathematics. In addition you will require at least a grade 6 in English Language or English Literature.

In this course you will examine how writers construct different texts. You will be encouraged to offer your own opinions on language issues including technology, power and gender. You will also examine both how human beings acquire language as well as how language has developed over time.
