NCAA Course List: Go to NCAA Course List and enter 363145 under ACT/CEEB Code to see Sandy Valley specific approved courses.
All NCAA Approved courses are marked in the Sandy Valley Course Guide.
Student-athletes wanting to participate in sports at a NCAA Division I or II college need to:
Attend the NCAA eligibility meeting every year to make sure you understand the academic requirements for athletic eligibility.
Earn a MINIMUM grade point average of 2.2 (Division II) or 2.3 (Division I) IN THOSE CORE COURSES
Register with the Clearinghouse. It is recommended that students begin with a free Profile Account early in their HS career and then convert to a paid account once they are sure they would like to compete at the Division I / II level. Register HERE.
Notify a counselor to send a transcript upon registering with the Clearinghouse.
REMEMBER IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NEEDED COURSES AND GRADES- see a Counselor if you have any questions. Plan early to be eligible!
