Trout have 8 fins:
Caudal fin: Is used for propulsion through the water.
Dorsal Fin (Spiny):  Helps keep fish from rolling over. Pectoral Fin(s): Maneuverability through the water.
Pelvic Fin(s): Stability and speed.
Adipose Fin: Pressure and sense movement/detect prey/escape from predators.
