📚Reading Workshop occurs on a daily basis in 2S. Students use their book bags, just-right books, post-its, and any other materials/resources deemed necessary. 

**Most of those extra resources can be found on this site to ensure consistency between home and school.

📚Students listen to a 10-12 minute mini-lesson then go off to work independently on skills taught that day or in prior lessons. During independent reading, students may also have time to work with the teacher in a small group or one-on-one. 

📚Students log their reading each period and are expected to log at home each night. This helps them reflect on what helps them find success as a reader. 

📚Students will build on their accuracy, fluency, and comprehension throughout the year. These three elements are necessary for growth as a reader.
