📎Writing Workshop occurs on a daily basis in 2S. Students use their writing folders, pens, paper choice, and any other materials/resources deemed necessary. 

**Most of those extra resources can be found on this site to ensure consistency between home and school.

📎Students listen to a 10-12 minute mini-lesson then go off to work independently on any skill taught during that unit or previously. During independent writing, students may also have time to work with the teacher in a small strategy group or one-on-one. 

📎Students will build on their volume, content, mechanics, and writing process throughout the year. These elements are necessary for growth as a writer.
