In our English class, we have 10 minute reading time every Monday. We can read any books that we like as long as it is in English. We also learned how to choose a book that suits our level.
英語の時間では毎週月曜日に10分間の読書時間を設けています。英語で書かれている本なら自由にいろんな本を読むことができます。そこで私達が学んだのは、自分のレベルに合った本を選ぶということです。

Global Issues
In our Global Issues class, we usually work in groups and exchange opinions about some challenging topics. It requires us to be open minded and critical thinkers. It helps us broaden our perspective and deepen our thoughts.
グローバルイシューの授業では主にグループ活動で意見交換をしています。使われるトピックが深く、普段触れないような話題ばかりだけど、それだからこそ、もっと広い視野を持ち、自分たちの考えを深めることができると思います。

In our Math class. We learn Math in English. We sometimes play games to understand how the theory works more easily. Our most favorite part of Math is the teachers. Ms. Greaves is so beautiful and kind, and Mr. Douglass is so funny and cute. Because of them we enjoy the math class.
私達の数学の授業では、数学を英語で学びます。時々ゲームをして数学の理屈をより簡単に理解します。そして数学の時間で一番私たちが好きなのは先生たちです。Ms. Greavesはとても綺麗で優しく指導してくれます。 Mr.Douglassはとてもユニークに授業を進めてくれます。先生達のおかげでより数学を楽しめます。
私達の国語の授業では、物語を楽しむことを学びます。「東下り」という古典物語を学習したときは、グループを作り自分達の解釈でストーリを予想し、実際前に立って群読と群象をしました。国語の授業ではコミュニケーション、意見交換を特に意識を置いて授業がされています。だからルールもなく、誰とでも意見交流がしやすい環境が作られています。だがそれと共に、私達は自分で適切な判断能力を養います。

In our Japanese class, we learn how to enjoy the story by reading it. On our unit of "azumakudari," we made groups and made a story based on our own interpretation. We enjoy the class because it is a class that emphasizes communication, so there are no rules in class. We can make groups and discuss about the topic, but at the same time we should think by ourselves and decide what is right or not.

Our Biology class is very unique. First of all our teacher, Mr. Cauthorn really hates memorizing. He always says that "Don't memorize it . You should understand it". He always does his best to make us understand the lesson. To understand better, we often do experiments.
