Presenting
The presenting portfolio is essentially your repertoire or musical resume. Present your performances, compositions, creations, and productions. Remember to be diverse in both context and inquiry.
During senior year you will compile your works together and write short program notes for each piece. This portfolio will include works that you create:
As A Performer
You will compile solo and group recordings of your playing and/or singing. These can include recordings at shows, concerts, open mics, etc.
As A Creator
You will develop original compositions or creations that explore a diverse range of musical contexts and areas of inquiry.
As A Researcher
You will write programme notes that explain your presenting portfolio choices.
Solo and/or ensemble recordings (max 12 minutes)
Excerpts (maximum 2 minutes)
Compositions and/or improvisations (maximum 6 minutes)
600 words max
Should include ALL 4 AREAS OF INQUIRY and aim to be diverse (try to include all three contexts)
