Virtual Reality (VR) is a simulated environment that can simulate physical presence in places in the real world or imagined worlds. Check out the History of Virtual Reality.

Teachers and students require access to a smartphone, virtual reality apps, and a VR headset. However, if you don't have these things, don't despair. You can use an iPad in regular mode to participate in Google Expeditions.
