Foundations of Art

I learned a lot being in this art class. I learned that it is very important to use different materials when you are doing art. You need to be able to see what you really like. You can't just pick something and say you're not good at art when you just haven't found your thing yet.i think my art shows that i'm very technical with art my realistic drawings are a lot better than the “easier” more design projects.

I think the most challenging project this year was probably the candy still life because it is hard for me to see what color is really on the picture so is hard for me to find the right ones to use in the drawing.On the other hand i think the drawing i'm most proud of is my duck stamp drawing because it is one of the only full colored pencil drawings i have done. I am also proud of it because I won an award.

For the future i just want to make progress in different mediums rather than just using graphite i want to branch out more and be able to do more with color.i think my work shows i have improves by looking at my first drawing you can see that i wasn't good at drawing from my head i wasn't very creative i was all technical but looking at more recent stuff i have been doing you can see that not everything i do in art class is from something i have see once in my life.
