Fav artwork Ive done out of everything over my four years!
For my last reflection, I want to highlight all the art classes I’ve taken in the past years. Altogether, these art classes have shown me a creative side I was not aware I had. I am overjoyed to have experienced many types of art and to end in an IS where I turned what I learned into my own work.
My favorite project this semester is my lobster claws. It showed me that I enjoy making larger, realistic pieces. I also enjoyed seeing others connect with something I created. If this year taught me one thing, it would be patience. For a long time, I’ve struggled to trust the process in my art. That was true with the lobster claws as well. I disliked how they looked at times, but in the end, I loved the result, and it greatly strengthened my patience.
The best thing about being in a IS is letting my mind go wherever it wants. Making everything I wanted with no push back was such a great feeling.
