Artist statement:

I wanted to draw a rainbow and a not-so-realistic background because of the duck stamp that we did right before Donate Life Design, something simple.

I first sketched out where I wanted everything to be then added the colors that I needed to use.

I had a lot of mess-ups with colors and figuring out that doing the sky first would not give me the vibrant colors I wanted so I did the rainbow first then used a pencil to write "Be The Rainbow In Someone's Sky " to lay out what I wanted my handwriting to be like. I wanted It to look cursive but not really cursive.
