For the value strip and the continuous I used paper and graphite pencil 9" x 12" but for the Negative space i used Bristol board 14" x 17" , pen, pencil, and colored pencil.

The main idea that guided my artwork was really focusing on the negative space and not so much the positive space. To make the pieces of art I used different paper for each one, Photo coy for zentangle, regular paper for continues contour and bristol board for the negative space.

In order to make the zentangle I thought of a pattern that could go from light to dark but still look cool. for the continuous contour line project I looked at my hand and drew it, and finally for the negative space leaves I traced only the white spice/negative space.
