Acrylic Painting

For this piece I had to use 84 colors and decided I wanted to do something with sea animals because they tend to be very colorful. The main idea that guided this is not only that sea animals are colorful but the ocean is also my favorite place and I wanted it to be ocean theme. 

For this piece I used graphite pencil, acrylic paint, canvas paper, and very tiny paint brushes. The process of this piece was to first map out in pencil where everything was gonna be so I could have a good idea of where to paint it instead of freehanding. Once I finishes that I mixed blue acrylic paint with water so I could get a varnish type paint for the background.
