My first idea was to go around asking students what kind of pets they have owned. As students said that they’ve owned a tropical fish and three hermit crabs; another has owned a rat. The first question wasn’t so specific, since I had lots of cats and dogs. Leading to my second idea; my second idea was to do a poll.
