Bio:  

This will be my 10th year teaching physical education and my 3rd year at Summit!  I chose to become a PE teacher because I love teaching kids about the benefits of exercising and staying healthy since it's such important part of life!  

I was born and raised in Arlington, NE where I played every sport I could. I'm a huge Nebraska Football fan (yes, even the down years).  After high school, I chose to further my academic and basketball career and attended the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk).  After college, I briefly played professional basketball overseas in Germany and Austria.  Since then, I've held many different jobs working with kids and coaching college basketball.  After years of bouncing around I finally realized what I really wanted to do with my life - be a PE teacher! 

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family & dogs, watching sports, exercising, watching movies and TV series, listening to music, drawing, doing house projects, playing Fantasy Football, and traveling to warm places!
