PE Syllabus
Below you will find our PE expectations, PE uniform information, health/injury concerns, grading policy, locker room expectations, classroom expectations, PE outcomes, and contact information.
PE Expectations:
Be in spot on time
Have PE clothes each day
Items stay in the hallway for class
Give us your best effort everyday
School appropriate conversations
PE Uniform:
PE uniform shirts are REQUIRED ($10.00). Black athletic shorts/sweatpants/leggings are also required. Although we do have shorts for purchase ($10.00), they do not need to be purchased though ST. Students may bring their own bottoms from home. Students may also use their previous year ST PE shirt as well.
You can purchase the required PE shirt & shorts through TOUCHBASE (button link under image).
If a uniform shirt is lost, you may purchase a new shirt through our Touchbase system (button under image) or you can bring $10 to the office or your child's PE teacher.
Athletic shoes are also a requirement.
Health/Injury Concerns:
If your child is unable to participate due to illness or Doctor's request, please email your child's teacher. *A parent note/email is good for 2 days. After 2 days, a doctor note is required.
If your child is under Doctor's care and has limitations, please provide a Doctor's note with specific information to the school nurse. There will be alternative activities given to your child so they can earn their daily points.
Grading Policy:
Students earn 10 points a day
Point Breakdown:
(3) Be dressed for activity (ST issued PE shirt & black shorts/sweats/leggings)
(3) Participate to the best of their ability
(2) Follow directions
(2) Have a great attitude
Locker Room Expectations:
All bags and belongings must be left on a numbered circle in the hallway at all times
Phones, Devices, candy, gum, food & drinks are not allowed in the locker room before, during, or after school
Lock your belongings in your locker during class and at the end of the hour
Nothing should be left on the benches or floor during or after classes
Use the restroom at this time, not allowed to go back into locker room until the end of the hour
No running in the locker room or standing on the benches
Classroom Expectations:

PE Outcomes:
As a result of the participation in Physical Education the students will:
Demonstrate competency in many movement forms
Develop, demonstrate, and understand fundamental movement skills and health-related fitness components
Applies movement concepts and principles to the learning and development of movement skills
Demonstrates responsible personal and social behavior in a physical activity setting
Recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and/or social interaction
