Bio:

This will be my 10th year teaching, 3rd year in physical education and my 1st year at Summit!  I love anything that has to do with being active, outside, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

I was born and raised in Olathe, KS. I went to Jr. High at Oregon Trail and Graduated from Olathe North High School in 2008. I went to Emporia State to play baseball from 2008-2010. I transferred to Mid-America Nazarene University from 2010 – 2012 , where I played football. I went on after college to get my master’s in building leadership at Baker University. I started teaching in the Olathe School District in 2012 at Olathe North, teaching Freshman World History for 7 years. After Olathe North, I taught 2 years in Physical Education at Pioneer Trail Middle School.

My life outside of Teaching revolves around my family. I have been married to my wife Christy for 12 years. We have 3 tremendous kiddos, Brett (7), Baker (5), and Joey June (2).  Outside of family time, I love being outdoors in any sort of activity.
