"Dystopia: The Hungry Maze of Divergent Death" by Don Zolidis was performed at ITMS on February 28-29, 2020. It was directed by Jordan Billings and stage managed by Lesli Rodriguez, 8th grade. The show was half of the Night of One-Acts and told the story of 15 students trapped in a maze in the dystopian future. Run by the cruel Gamemaster and the two guards, the unwilling participants must battle various obstacles such as pigeon puppets, stuffed animal fights, and the dreaded Mr. Cuddles. There were 21 students in the cast.
"The One-Act Play Disaster" by Don Zolidis was also performed on February 28-29 at ITMS. It was directed by Julia Ybarra-Young and stage managed by Evelin Romo-Macias, 8th grade. This play-within-a-play is a spoof of the casino heist movies like Ocean's Eleven. However, every that can go wrong, goes wrong. From set pieces falling to actors being woefully miscast, it is a surprising and funny show. There were 15 students in the cast.
There were 13 students as crew for both shows.
